Why we built it
We build websites and run ad campaigns for clients, and the same question kept coming up: which ad actually produced this enquiry? Google Ads, Meta and LinkedIn each claimed the same leads, the totals never matched the inbox, and Google Analytics could count visits but couldn’t put a name next to any of them. So we built the plugin we wanted: one that notes where each visitor came from and attaches it to the form submission, so the answer sits on the lead itself.
The free plugin does the tracking and always will. Lead Source Pro adds the parts agencies kept asking us for: the page-by-page journey behind each lead, reports that compare one period with another, notifications routed to different inboxes by source, and scheduled white-label client reports.
One plugin, a few names
You may have seen it as LeadSourcePro, the name it first launched under and still our domain, or as LeadSource, its listing on WordPress.org. It’s the same plugin. The only official listing is wordpress.org/plugins/leadsource, and Lead Source isn’t connected to any other company or product with a similar name.
