Lead Source Pro
The free plugin tells you where every lead came from — and it stays fully functional, free forever. Pro is for when you need more: the full journey each lead took, reports you can compare and schedule, and notifications routed to the right inbox.
Built for Agencies and Sites That Live on Their Leads
Knowing the source of a lead is step one. Pro answers the follow-up questions: What did they look at before they enquired? Which sources send leads that actually convert? And how do this month’s numbers compare to last month’s — in a report you can put your own logo on and send to a client automatically.
What Pro Adds
Full Lead-Journey Tracking
See every page a lead viewed before they enquired — tracked natively by Lead Source, with no extra plugin needed.
Smart Per-Source Notifications
Route leads from different sources to different email addresses — Facebook leads to one inbox, Google Ads to another — with every-form-fill, daily, weekly, or monthly summaries per recipient.
Reports & Date-Range Comparison
Prebuilt and saved reports: this month, the last 30 days vs. the previous 30, this year vs. last year, or per source — plus saved segments you can reuse.
Good-Lead Marking
Manually flag the leads that turned out to be good, and measure true conversion by source — not just volume.
Scheduled Branded Reports
Automatic PDF or HTML reports emailed to your clients on a schedule you set — no more month-end copy-and-paste.
White-Labeling
Put your own logo and agency name on reports and dashboards, so the work you deliver carries your brand.
Clean, Trustworthy Data
Exclude internal traffic by IP address or user role, and filter out bots and spam — so your reports reflect real leads only.
See Pro in Action
Every screen below is the real plugin, captured from a working installation. This is what you get.
The Lead Inbox

Every Lead in One Table
The Leads screen lists every captured submission, newest first. Four summary cards — total leads, good leads, quality rate, and the share reviewed — recalculate live whenever a filter is applied, and every row shows when the lead arrived, who sent it, its source and channel, the form it came through, and its review state.
Lead Detail & Attribution
Click View on any row and the lead opens in a panel over the list. The submission sits at the top; below it, “Where they came from” holds the full attribution record — resolved source and channel, UTM campaign, term and content, the ad click ID, the landing page, the page they submitted from, and how long they’d been on the site.

Review State & Visitor Journey
Mark any lead as good or junk — the plugin records who set the state and when, so your quality figures are auditable. Below it, the visitor journey reconstructs everything that visitor read before enquiring, session by session, with scroll depth and tags for the landing and converting pages. It answers what a source figure alone can’t: what actually persuaded them.
Filter Straight to the Answer
Narrow the list by channel, source, review state, and date range — the filters combine, so “paid search leads I’ve marked good” is one operation. The source dropdown only offers sources actually captured on your site, so no filter ever returns nothing.

Search Every Enquiry
The search box queries lead names, email addresses, and message bodies — find an enquiry by surname, by a company mentioned in the message, or by a phrase you remember. Search stacks with the filters, and one click on Clear filters returns you to the full list.
Reports That Show What’s Working
The Reports Overview
Pick which leads, the period, and what to compare against — then read the KPI cards, the leads-over-time chart, and ranked breakdowns by channel, source, landing page, and campaign. Export CSV and Save as segment sit on the same bar.

Compare Any Two Periods
Changing the period rebuilds every panel. With a comparison active, the KPI cards and breakdown bars carry a delta against the previous period — so you can see which channels grew and which quietly fell away. Both date ranges are always spelled out in full.
Saved Segments
A segment is a saved report view — a set of channels, sources, forms or campaigns plus a default period. Segments also power scheduled report emails and per-recipient notification filters, so naming them well pays off twice.

Settings That Do the Heavy Lifting

The Attribution Window
Choose how many days a visitor’s original traffic source is remembered. Set to 30, someone who clicks an ad today and returns next week to fill in the form is still credited to that ad — not to direct traffic.
Notifications, Routed Per Recipient
Add any number of recipients, each with their own choice of sends: every lead as it arrives, or a daily, weekly, or monthly summary. Point a recipient at a saved segment and a salesperson receives only the paid-search enquiries while the owner gets the monthly summary of everything.

White-Label Branding
Your agency name replaces the plugin name on report emails and the printable report page. Choose a logo from the media library, set a brand colour for email headers and chart bars, hide the promotional footer, and override the From name and address on outgoing mail.
Scheduled Client Reports
Mail a report on a cadence without anyone logging in: name it, pick which leads it covers, set the day and hour, and choose the period and comparison it should show. Web versions add a printable browser copy behind an unguessable, expiring link.

Capture From the Forms You Already Run
Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms, Ninja Forms, Formidable Forms, Fluent Forms, Elementor Pro Forms, and Everest Forms — capture is on by default for any supported plugin that’s active, with a per-plugin toggle for forms that shouldn’t count.
Data Hygiene
Exclusion rules match internal IP addresses (single, CIDR, or ranges), logged-in user roles, and internal email domains. Matched submissions are flagged and left out of reports — never deleted — so an over-eager rule can be spotted and undone. Journey tracking, Do Not Track, and retention controls live here too.

Your Data, Your Call
One deliberately blunt setting: whether deactivating the plugin should delete all leads and settings. It’s off by default — deactivate and reactivate, and every lead is intact.
Up and Running From First Activation
The Setup Wizard
The wizard runs on first activation — and nothing on it is required, because lead capture is already running by the time it appears. It confirms the tracked form plugins, takes your first notification recipient, sets the attribution window, and ends with a plain-language statement of exactly what’s stored, ready for your privacy policy.

Free vs. Pro
The free plugin is not a trial. Everything it does today, it keeps doing — free forever. Pro adds a layer of reporting, routing, and client-facing polish on top.
