Why Is the Core Plugin Free?
Lead-source attribution shouldn’t be locked behind a paywall. Every tracking feature — unlimited storage, email notifications, monthly summaries — is free, so any WordPress site can see where its leads come from. Pro exists for teams that need more on top: full lead journeys, comparison reports, notification routing, and white-label client reporting. The free plugin stays fully functional either way.

Is the free plugin really free? What’s the catch?
No catch. The free plugin is hosted on WordPress.org and everything it does is included — unlimited entry storage, per-submission email notifications, and monthly summary emails. There’s no trial period and no licence key. Lead Source Pro is an optional paid upgrade; the free plugin is fully functional without it.
How do I install the free plugin?
Go to Plugins → Add New in your WordPress admin, search for “LeadSource”, and click Install. Or download it directly from wordpress.org/plugins/leadsource and upload the zip. Either way, activating the plugin launches a guided setup wizard.
Will the free features ever become paid?
No. We said from the start that if we ever added paid add-ons, the existing tracking, dashboard, storage and email features would stay free for everyone — and that’s exactly how Pro works. Pro adds new capabilities on top; nothing has been removed from the free plugin.
What does Pro add?
